UYUNI SALT FLAT FROM BOLIVIA 2 DAYS

We offer you the possibility of spending a night in the Salar de Uyuni and enjoy a unique sunrise. The tour is as a regular service with driver-guide in Spanish, transportation and shared accommodation. Day 1
The adventure begins at 10:00 in the morning starting from our agency in Uyuni. We will visit the town of Colchani to learn about the process of salt extraction, and also do some shopping at their craft fair. We will learn about the community of Coqueza and the Tunupa Volcano. We will trek through the viewpoint and arrive in the Chullpas Cemetery. We will spend the night in the Salt Hostel.

Day 2
The day starts early before dusk so we can see the sun rise from the Incahuasi Island. The Island emerges from the heart of the salt flat. In it we can see thousands of giant cacti and incredible views of the salt flat. After breakfast we will visit the Salt Museum and the Eyes of the Salt Flat. On the way back to Uyuni we will make a last stop at the Train Cemetery. The tour ends at approximately 13:30 arriving in the city.

Description

IT INCLUDES:
· Shared transportation in 4×4 jeep for the crossing.
· Basic shared accommodation. Shared bathroom. Consult for private room with private bathroom if you wish so.
· Food, lunch and dinner the first day, breakfast the second day (please let us know about any dietary requirements or medical conditions).
· Spanish driver-guide. Consult for guidance in other languages.

WHAT TO BRING ?:
· 30 bolivianos per person for the entrance to the island Incahuasi.
· Water, 2 liters per day are recommended.
· Warm clothing.
· Toilet paper.

OTHER INFORMATION:
· Temperatures: Summer (December to March) min 4º C, max 23 ºC. Winter (June to September) min -20 ° C, 16 ° C max.
· The itinerary is subject to change if adverse weather conditions are available. During the months of January, February and March due to the rains the route inside the salar is more limited. Sometimes, access to Incahuasi Island is cut off. If it is not possible to get to the salt hostel in Puerto Chuvica, we will spend the second night in a basic hostel in the city of Uyuni. On the other hand, in these months we can admire the magical mirror effect in some areas of the salt flat.
